Edwardian Elegance |
The Edwardian Elegance Exhibit will be on display at Sew Ladylike beginning May 1st and lasting through July. This exhibit features several dresses from the the early 1900's up until 1919.
Highlights of the exhibit include the Titanic Tea Gown, which details the elaborate gowns worn by passengers on that fateful voyage in 1912.

Another focal point is the Gibson Girl shirtwaist blouse. The "Gibson Girl" look was popular during the turn of the century. It showcased the ultimate femininity and elegance of the modern lady.
The exhibit is free to all historical fashion enthusiasts and can be seen on location at Sew Ladylike, 400 Chestnut St. Mifflinburg, PA 17844. Sew Ladylike provides an array of sewing services ranging from hemming, to dressmaking, and antique clothing reproduction. Notions, ready to wear ladies apparel, and sewing patterns are also available.

All dresses, including those in the vintage fashion exhibit, may be purchased custom fitted to your personal measurements. You may select alternate fabrics and accessories for a customized look.
